Job Description
Job Title: Deputy Foreign Principal
Reporting to: the Founding Principal
The overall responsibility of the Deputy Foreign Principal is to work as a member of the Principal team to assist the Founding Principal in the overall management of the School. With the goal of leading to becoming recognized domestically and internationally, together with the Principal team and the Senior Leadership Team of the School, the Deputy Principal must work in tandem to fulfill the aims and the mission of the School.
Besides specific administrative and management duties, the Deputy Principal shall exercise a leadership and motivational role in the direction of the school’s development.
The Deputy Principal is required to work under the direction of the Founding Principal and the board of our school.
The Deputy Principal shall teach a maximum of 10 periods per week and is required normally to be in attendance in the school throughout the school day and required to be present in any School events or marketing and admissions events outside the normal opening hours and days of the school such as may be necessary from time to time.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Leadership -- School Development
Ø Responsible for publicity of the school's brand, including but not limited to, brand publicity, student interview, review of external brand publicity content, etc
Ø Responsible for assisting the Founding Principal in developing the educational purposes of the School and devising strategies to achieve them
Ø Responsible for identifying of characteristics of SIFC and enriching international atmosphere of the school, and comprehensively improving the language ability of students
Ø Responsible for undertaking particular projects or lead on specific issues as directed by the Founding Principal
Ø Responsible for assisting the Founding Principal and working with the Principal Team to coordinate the school plan and policies for approval by the Board of Management.

Leadership--School Management
Ø Oversee the day-to-day management of the School together with the Principal team, including the planning and supervising of the daily time schedules of classes
Ø Support the Academic Department in developing supportive learning atmosphere at school to promote high achievement among students.
Ø Promote effective teaching and learning practices among teaching staffs and students
Ø Support the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning across the school
Ø Contribute to the development of the evaluation of teaching and learning policies and implementation
Ø Support the Wellbeing team in matters of student discipline, in the promotion of good orders and general supervision of student behavior
Ø Participate in the recruitment and professional development of teaching staff
Ø Strengthen the integration of Chinese and foreign teams and enhance the cohesion of staff
Ø Act as a conduit between the Board staff and pupils for the communication of information and concerns
Ø Maintain effective relationships with the stake holders by attend meetings when necessary with (but not limited to) the Governing Body, student council, parent and community to provide such reports and information as is required This job description does not constitute a complete description of duties.
