1. Teach undergraduate and graduate-level English listening and speaking courses each semester. Weekly teaching load: 12–14 class periods of classroom instruction + 2 periods of extracurricular tutoring (45 minutes per period).
2. Faithfully carry out all teaching and assessment tasks as stipulated in the syllabus.
3. Participate in formulating development plans for the English discipline, assist in building the faculty team, establish and refine the curriculum system, and organize English-related student activities (e.g., English speech contests, debate competitions, etc.).
4. Contract Term: Three years.
III. Qualifications
1. Comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the rules and regulations of Renmin University of China and its Suzhou Campus; respect Chinese traditions and customs; and maintain a friendly attitude toward China.
2. Be passionate about higher education, law-abiding, of sound moral character, and possess a rigorous work ethic, along with strong professional ethics, professional competence, communication skills, and a spirit of teamwork.
3. Applicants should not be older than 50 years of age.
4. Native English speakers from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
5. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language and Literature, Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TESL), Linguistics, or a related field.
6. Have at least two years of experience teaching English as a foreign language (official documentation must be provided). However, the work experience requirement may be waived for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or higher in education, linguistics, or teacher training, or those holding a teaching certificate from their home country or a recognized international language teaching certification. Additionally, candidates must possess the practical ability to fulfill teaching responsibilities.
7. Preference will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria: currently residing in China; holding a master’s degree or higher; or holding CLT, TESOL, or EFL certifications.
IV. Compensation and Benefits
1. Bachelor’s degree: 13,000 RMB/month (pre-tax); Master’s degree: 14,000 RMB/month (pre-tax).
2. A teaching bonus of 7,500 RMB will be awarded if the semester teaching evaluation score reaches 90 points or higher; if the score is below 90, the bonus will not be awarded. The teaching bonus will not be awarded if the applicant resigns during the contract period; if the contract is not renewed upon expiration, the teaching bonus for the final semester will not be awarded.
3. Paid summer vacation (July and August) is approximately 8 weeks; paid winter vacation (January and February) is approximately 4 weeks.
4. Social insurance will be arranged in accordance with national regulations and the relevant provisions of the institution’s registered location; the institution will handle the necessary procedures and fulfill its corresponding obligations on behalf of faculty members.
5. Visa processing fees within China (limited to one time per year).

Sino-French Institute, Renmin University of China is the first Sino-foreign cooperative school based on humanities and social sciences, approved by the Ministry of Education of China and jointly established by Renmin University of China and Sorbonne University, Paul-Valery University and KEDGE Business School of France. It is a non-independent legal entity under Renmin University of China.
At present, the China-France College offers majors in finance, national economic management, French, mathematics and applied mathematics, human resources management, communication, etc., and insists on the trilingual teaching of Chinese, English and French in classroom teaching. Students must be proficient in French and be able to conduct in-depth study and research in French. Upon graduation, students will receive a bachelor's degree from a Sino-French cooperative university, and can enter a French cooperative university to study for a master's degree.
